Jesus

King Jesus (Iquis: Īšō [iˈʃo]; Īzō [iˈzo]; Yēšwə [ˈjeʃwə], Huai: Yeesoo, Onthymic: Cézy) was presumably a monarch of the Earth kingdom of America or the entirety of Earth. He is mentioned in the scriptures of most faiths in the Settled Systems.

Historicity

Scholars and theologians are unsure whether Jesus existed as a historical figure or merely as an allegory of unknown contemporary politics.

Symbols

The symbol of Jesus is the Terran Cross, believed to have been the sigil of America, or of Earth in general. It was a common sigil used by the Earth kingdoms, although its significance has been lost to time. Some faiths, like the Old Prophets, claim that Jesus was the mortal incarnation of Eoa, and his contemporaries fastened him upon a wooden cross and burned him to death for spreading his beliefs.

Sect of Maadmug

Jesus, or King Jesus of America, was a central figure of worship in the Sect of Maadmug. He is recognized as one of the 76 prophets in the religion. His contemporaries included King Lenin of the Kingdom of Soviets, and his father, the Gintama Buddha.

Lineage

His father's identity is controversial: some theologians believe it to be Joseph of the Nile, while some, particularly follows of the Sect of Maadmug, believe it was the Gintama Buddha.
