Ulaharim

Ulaharim (Iquis: Ūlahārimē, Ulaharimi: Khõs Ula Har [kʰɔ̃s ʊɫɑ xɑr]) is a planet in the Coalition of Allied Star Systems. It is a tidally locked planet.

Name

The native name Khõs Ula Har literally means 'noble globe homeworld'.

Geography

Ulaharim is tidally-locked to its star, Salai. Its daytime side, mostly ocean, is superheated by Salai, cause the hot seawater to generate a perpetual supercyclone. The nighttime side is a frozen barren wasteland. Its twilight zone, a comfortable 300-kilometer ring between the daytime and nighttime sides of Ulaharim, is where the inhabitants of Ulaharim live.
